General
When you opt-in to the service, we will send you a message to confirm your signup.
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive SMS text messages—whether through our website sign-up process, event registration, or other enrollment method—you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Karpel, which may include promotional offers, event notifications, conference updates, registration reminders, and other marketing content. Automated messages may be sent to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or any other number that you designate.
Message frequency varies, and additional mobile messages may be sent periodically based on your interaction with Karpel. Karpel reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time to increase or decrease the total number of sent messages. Karpel also reserves the right to change the short code or phone number or alphanumeric sender where messages are sent
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan. Karpel is not responsible for any fees charged by your mobile carrier. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your mobile provider. Your mobile provider is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

Cancellation
You may opt out of receiving SMS text messages at any time by replying STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any SMS message you receive from us, or through a link included in our messages. After you send an opt-out keyword, you will receive a single final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed and will receive no further SMS messages from us unless you re-enroll. Opting out of SMS messages will not affect your ability to receive communications through other channels (such as email) or your ability to participate in Karpel events or services. If you would like to receive messages from Karpel again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending messages to you again.

If we include a link in messages we send you from Karpel, you may also access instructions on how to unsubscribe and our company information by following that link.
Transfer of Number
You agree that before changing your mobile number or transferring your mobile number to another individual, you will either reply \"STOP\" from the original number, unsubscribe using the link included in our messages (if one is provided), or notify us of your old number at info@karpel.com. The duty to inform us based on the above events is a condition of using this service to receive messages.
Privacy
We will not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer your mobile telephone number or SMS opt-in information to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share your mobile phone number with service providers who assist us in delivering SMS messages (such as our SMS platform provider), but such providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to us.

10DLC Compliance
Our SMS messaging program is sent via 10-digit long code (10DLC) numbers in compliance with carrier requirements and industry standards. By participating in our SMS program, you acknowledge that your mobile carrier may collect data about your messaging activity, and you should review your carrier’s privacy policy for more information.
Messaging Terms Changes
We reserve the right to change or terminate our messaging program at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Messaging Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Messaging Terms. We encourage you to review these Messaging Terms periodically. If you do not agree to a change to these Messaging Terms, you should cancel your enrollment with our messaging program. Your continued enrollment following such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
