October, 2009 - Clay County implements its first automated Prosecution System!

A very complex data conversion which used data from the new state court system, combined with legacy data from the former court system, has made PROSECUTORbyKarpel a huge success as the FIRST automated Prosecution System in Clay County.
October, 2009 - Shelby and Monroe counties use HOSTEDbyKarpel!

A strong Internet connection replaces the need for Shelby and Monroe to purchace and maintain local server hardware as they join multiple other counties that use HOSTEDbyKarpel, our Software as a Service (SAAS) solution.
September, 2009 - Iron and Lincoln counties implement Version 4.2.

September, 2009 - Louisiana District Attorney Association selects PROSECUTORbyKarpel

LDAA officially selects Karpel to implement 19 Louisiana Parishes over the next two years. This selection was made after several demonstrations with thier technology committee and their review of 5 other competitive products.
August, 2009 - Pemiscot County implements Version 4.2

July, 2009 - Version 4.2 is released!

Version 4.2 has over 100 enhancements including Electronic Discovery with Redaction, Paperless Court Room, CLE Tracking and the annual Charge Code update.
May, 2009 - Jackson County adds another 125 users to the over 1000 users in Missouri.

A complex data conversion was successfully implemented in Jackson County. Karpel merged 400,000 records from OSCA's JIS court system, with 130,000 inaccurate, legacy application records to create the first and only comprehensive criminal activity database in Kansas City, MO.
April, 2009 - Cole and Vernon counties implement Version 4.0

PROSECUTORbyKarpel proudly facilitates the prosection of crime in the State Capital of Missouri, Jefferson City.
March, 2009 - Douglas and Polk counties implement Version 4.0

February, 2009 - Miller and Perry counties implement Version 4.0

Miller goes through a standard Dialog conversion while we convert Perry data straight from the State Wide Court System (JIS) to get them off to a great start! Perry was able to eliminated at least 4 obsolete, semi-manual systems using Karpel.
January, 2009 - Johnson and Phelps counties move to the SQL Browser Based Version 4.0

December, 2008 - Barry and Bates Counties are implemented.

December, 2008 - Franklin, Camden and Buchannan convert from 3.4 to Version 4.0

Our pilot counties have successfully transitioned from the Oracle based Version 3.4 to the latest SQL Browser based Version 4.0 of PROSECUTORbyKarpel. All future implementations will be Version 4.0 and all 3.4 counties should be converted to 4.0 by the end of 2009.
November, 2008 - Taney County implements and uses the latest features.

Features from Imaging to Outlook Calendars are installed and a smooth transition is made to PROSECUTORbyKapel.
October, 2008 - St. Charles County implements Version 4.0

Karpel converts Dialog data and trains another 53 users.
October, 2008 - 76 Users implement Version 4.0 in Greene County

Greene converts from another software vendor and states they will use PROSECUTORbyKarpel to go paperless within 6 months. 2010 Update-Paperless goals are fully accomplished!
September, 2008 - Webster County implements Version 4.0

Including data conversions from both Dialog and Dennis Jones.
July, 2008 - Wayne and Dekalb Counties are implemented.

August, 2008 - Nodaway and Dade counties implement Version 4.0

The advanced browser based functionality and new features in Version 4.0 will be demonstrated at the Fall Conference.
June, 2008 - Version 4.0 is installed in St. Louis City!

Release 4.0 is completely browser based using the latest Microsoft ASP 2.0 technology running on a SQL Database. Many features include; user based licensing, window/report hot links for defendants, multiple application windows open simultaneously, and server based document generation without using macros. St. Louis City is currently running 4.0 in parallel with their old application and intends to cut over in August.

May, 2008 - Daviess and Caldwell Counties are implemented.

April, 2008 - Phelps chooses iNSIGHTbyKarpel

Karpel will outsource the network management for all 65 users of both the Sheriff and Prosecutor offices including 25 mobile units mounted in police vehicles.
April, 2008 - Christian, Stone, McDonald and Newton Counties are implemented.

PROSECUTORbyKarpel replaces yet another legacy application in Christian County. Our ability to convert data with 100% accuracy enables us to replace any competitive case management application, in a cost effective manner.

March, 2008 - Version 3.4 is announced!

Version 3.4 is currently being tested and will be ready for installation after the 2008 Spring Conference. It includes over 70 enhancements for Electronic Discovery, Document Scanning Integration, Bad Checks, Restitution, Victim Services and Statistical Reports.
February, 2008 - Maries and Hickory Counties are implemented.

 
January, 2008 - Lawrence and Saline Counties are implemented.

December, 2007 - Warren and Cedar Counties are implemented.

October, 2007 - Cape Girardeau County

Another Enforcer database is converted to implement 18 users in Cape Girardeau. Prosecutor Morley Swingle thanks the Karpel "computer gurus" for brining his office into this century.
September, 2007 - Jefferson, Moniteau and Callaway Counties

Karpel adds 53 more users and builds a third XML Law Enforcement interface in Jefferson County to add to its existing interfaces with ITI and CrimeStar. Plans for other police interfaces include Global and Enterpol.
August, 2007 - Version 3.3 is announced

Version 3.3 includes over 80 enhancements in the areas of Bad Checks, Delinquent Tax, Restitution, Microsoft Outlook integration, Defendant Merging, Docket Control, Ad Hoc Reporting, Grand Jury, 24hr Holds, Attorney Calendars, Traffic and Reports.

Scott and Benton Counties implement Version 3.3.
July, 2007 - Cooper, Pulaski and Gasconade Counties are implemented. 

 
June, 2007 - Dent, Crawford, St. Genevieve and Morgan Counties

Karpel replaces JustWare in Dent County.
May, 2007 - Dunklin, Osage and Lafayette Counties

Data is converted from Dialog, Dennis Jones and Bounce Back applications.
April, 2007 - Howell, Oregon, Texas, Wright, St. Francios and Madison Counties

Karpel breaks its own record of implementing 6 counties in one month.
March, 2007 - Randolph, Phelps and Washington Counties

Data conversions from Case Management and Check Collection applications facilitated the training and implantation of these 29 users.
February, 2007 - Boone and Johnson Counties

Karpel built custom interfaces back to AS/400 Sherriff and Treasurer Applications to satisfy the 35 users Boone County while preserving their AS/400 based data. Johnson County’s 12 users were pleased to retire their case management system. Karpel was able to sucessfully converted their Microsoft Works database.
January, 2007 - Version 3.2 is available.

Version 3.2 includes over 30 product enhancements in the areas of Police Data Transfer, Officer Vacation, Probation, Data Conversion, Victim Services and Statistical Reporting.
December, 2006 - Franklin County

Karpel builds an interface for the Law Enforcement product ITI. This implementation also required the conversion of data being held in the software product Abacus.
November, 2006 - Camden County

Karpel develops and uses a data conversion tool that automatically converts all data in the "case based" Dialog applications for the "party based" Karpel software. Development of an interface with other Check Collection applications is completed.
October, 2006 - Platte, Cass and Buchanan Counties

Fifty (50) users in three different counties pilot Version 3.1 of PROSECUTORbyKARPEL. Data conversions included data from Enforcer and an AS/400 application.
August, 2006 - Missouri Statewide Case Management Contract

The State of Missouri has awarded Karpel Solutions the contract to implement 330 users across 64 counties. This implementation will include data conversions from mainframe, SQL, AS/400, and a variety of other platforms. The goal is to implement approximately 40 counties in 2007 and the remaining counties in 2008. Karpel’s experience with data conversions along with the user friendly design of PROSECUTORbyKARPEL gives us the ability to convert and train each county in less than a week.
February, 2006 - St. Louis County

The St. Louis County, MO prosecutor office consists of 135 users and serves a population of 1,200,000 residents. Karpel converted over 20 years worth of historical case information from a Clarion database and built new interfaces with police and courts. Check Collection, Tax Collection, Child Support and Evidence Tracking are all vital parts of this implementation.
